E-Commerce Customer Service Rep & Order Fulfillment Specialist

Wineforawedding.com and boxforabottle.com are e-commerce retailers based in High Ridge, MO. As a young and growing company, we are passionate about our products and serving our customers. We are looking for a qualified candidate to assist in our Customer Care Center. Responsibilities will include: Customer Service, Quality Control, Order Fulfillment and Shipping.
In this position, the ideal candidate will be able to quickly develop an expert level of knowledge of company products and vendors, provide exceptional service and support to our customers, and keep the shipping department running smoothly.
As the first point of contact for our customers, this position requires knowledge,
professionalism, and friendliness
Must be able to respond to customer inquiries regarding orders, shipping, and
product information through the support channels of phone and email in a timely manner
Strong oral, written, listening, and interpersonal communication skills
Must be able to follow scripts, take direction and work well independently and with other staff
Must be able to troubleshoot and resolve problems quickly, efficiently and creatively
Positive customer service mind setalways!
Must be able to effectively multi-task, exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
Exceptional organizational, follow-up and time management skills
Strong sense of accountability, show initiative, be pro-active, adaptable and flexible
Prior consumer goods, e-retail or retail experience a plus
1-3 years prior full-time customer service experience
Must be capable of lifting up to 40 pounds and stand for extended periods of time
Must comply with any and all safety requirements
Must be detail-oriented, able to complete multiple and repetitive tasks in an organized manner,
and be committed to accuracy and quality
Must have the ability to read and comprehend order forms/shipping labels and to write legibly
Proficient with Macintosh operating systems and formats
Proficient in monitoring several email accounts simultaneously
Familiar with using web based applications and web navigation
Tech-savvy with the ability to learn new processes and applications quickly
Ability to type, quickly
Warehouse is partially climate controlled resulting in warmer and cooler temps
Workshop can be a loud and moderately dusty environment
Part- to full-time hourly position, depending on candidate
Must be punctual and reliable
The contact center hours are Monday through Friday 9AM-4PM, closed major holidays
$12-$15 per hour, based on experience

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
