Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate CNC machines to perform precision machining operations - Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and specifications to determine machining operations - Use SolidWorks and CAM programming software to create and modify CNC programs - Monitor machine operations to ensure parts are produced within specified tolerances - Perform routine maintenance on machines and equipment - Inspect finished parts using precision measuring instruments to ensure quality control standards are met - Package finished parts for shipment or delivery
Qualifications:
- Experience operating CNC machines, including lathes and mills - Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, engineering drawings, and specifications - Strong knowledge of machining principles and techniques - Familiarity with Fanuc or similar control systems - Ability to perform basic math calculations and use logic controllers - Experience with CAM programming software is a plus - Attention to detail and ability to maintain quality control standards This position requires a high level of accuracy, attention to detail, and technical expertise in CNC machining.
The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of machining principles, be able to read blueprints, and possess the ability to program CNC machines.
