Assumes responsibility for the correct and timely completion of production functions through the operation of specialized machines.
a.
Operates production machinery to complete assigned tasks.
Sets up machines with data provided by the Company.
b.
Understands the basic principles of production operations.
c.
Sets up all production machinery and equipment.
d.
Inspects parts visually and uses measuring tools to ensure compliance to specifications and drawings.
Documents results as required.
e.
Performs re-inspections and re-work as requested.
f.
Maintains machinery including cleaning and making necessary adjustments.
Informs management of any significant problems with machinery.
2.
Assumes responsibility for completing production functions in accordance with Company policies and procedures.
a.
Follows established production procedures and instructions.
b.
Meets quality and safety standards.
c.
Meets deadlines.
d.
Ensures that work area is clean, secure, and well maintained.
3.
Assumes responsibility for establishing and maintaining good communications, coordination, and working relations with Company personnel and with management.

Assists and supports production personnel as needed.
b.
Keeps supervisor informed of area activities and of any significant concerns.
Identifies problems and provides suggestions.
c.
Attends meetings as required.
4.
Assumes responsibility for related duties as required or assigned.
a.
Completes special projects as assigned.
b.
Completes reports and documents accurately and timely as required.
PERFORMANCE MEASUREMENTS 1.
Production functions are completed in accordance with Company standards and procedures.
Quality standards are met or exceeded.

Tests are completed accurately, timely, and in accordance with regulations.
3.
Effective communication and coordination exist with Company personnel and with management.
Assistance and support are provided as needed.
4.
Work areas are well organized and maintained.
5.
Records and reports are completed accurately and timely.
QUALIFICATIONS Education/Certification:
High school graduate or equivalent.
required knowledge:
Understanding of basic principles of machine operation.
Understanding of production standards and procedures.
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
At least one year of experience in operating manufacturing equipment.

Quality orientation and attentive to detail.
Good manual dexterity.
Cooperative and willing to assist others.
Ability to closely follow written and verbal instructions Job Type:
